Property owners or their representatives who wish to build, renovate, or alter an existing building must obtain Building Consent from the local authority if the work is not exempted under Schedule 1 of the Building Act 2004. They are responsible for doing so as stipulated in Section 14B of the Building Act 2004

4) Attend pre-application meeting with BCA or prepare BC documentation

5) Submit the BC application/Follow up/ Obtain BC

6) Provide all documentation to the Owner

7) Give final advice on the Conditions of BC, inspections, and documents required for compliance

8) Conclusion of Service agreement
